I may take the EP car down to ORP this summer, I think the key to SRP is to read the wind prior to going out, if there is are gusts coming from the west side slowing down there may be the answer. Portland, Seattle and misson im really looking forward to in the sports racer.

i dont know abot mission.i have raced at both pir and sir.pir is my home track.its like 5 minutes from my house.i love sir.but it car be very dangeres in a car.i only raced karts there.the parts down in the woods have very high curbs and the track is very narow.guys have hit the curbs and flipped there cars with very bad damage.there is some really fun parts of that track though.down hill bowl turns.pretty fast banked turns.lots of fun.your very brave for wanting to take a sports racer out os srp.did you see the vidio of mark white catching air are lime rock.its on his web site.acumoto.com.it was also on the forum.he was very close to blowing over.front wheels where 2 1/2 feet off the ground.

i agree.its a very unsafe thing in a sports racer.have you seen the new track in grass valley oregon?that not that far of a drive for you.its also got some scary looking spots in it.lots of blind hills.bowl turns.looks fun in the right car though.

now that the county owns it they have already announced plans to reroute the track behind the grandstands thru where the pits are now, move the pits north, if we show them the need maybe they will level the back shoot.

well i guess they have plans to improve it.to be honest i liked the rollers in the kart.that was in 2003 i guess now it could be worse for what you where saying.

the venturi in theory will balance out drag and downforce, basically two separate tunnels in one. this was Stans idea. im an old school moldmaker myself, but thank you, only a few sports racers here in spokane, one that wont even bring his wf1 out. im a little concerned about srp, the back shoot is whooped out from ground sinking and im worried about blow overs at 130 + mph, i take those rollers at 110 in my EP car and the rear wheels spin as i crest them and it weighs 2050 w/driver, whats going to happen with the dsr with limited downforce going much faster?

yea now that i think about it.that track would be scary in a fast sports racer.sounds like you have a good plan for the tunnel.sorry to hear that srp is in bad shape.i really like that track.

I went back and reread my email, yes it is the 200hp stock ZX1400, would love to get in touch with the guy to see about reliability of the motor. I already went over a twin chain design for a high hp bike motor with my quasi engineer friend for the CSR. My CSR chassis has the wildest full lenght floor tunnels ever done on a sports racer to date (venturi under the center of car)in anticpation of the recent rule change, with the weight of a DSR i'll be able to move the ballest around to get the optimum setup for the aero to work, in theory image

what is the turbo cc limit in csr?that could be an option for you.could get costly though.i herd they freed up some rules to make the csrs faster.yea take full advantage of the tunnel rule.i know that the zx14 has run well in other race cars like the fusion.they have converted to auto power.who is going to do your bodywork and floor molds?if you need help let me know.me and jesse here in portland did the new west wx10 bodywork.it was done the old school way.hand shapped foem and bondo.came out really good.another point to keep in mind is to not go overboard with the tunnels.like the mallen alley car.he took the hot rod aproch with the tunnels and his top speed is way down because of it.the tunnel floor on the west car was jointly engeneered by swift and leo from west.alot of cfd was done to make it work perfect with low drag and high downforce.
